TAN SRI ABDUL RAHMAN BIN MAMAT
Company Director, Chairman

Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Bin Mamat, a Malaysian, was appointed as Director of Eastern Steel Sdn Bhd on the 7th December 2011. Tan Sri Abdul Rahman is also serving on the board of HTVB as an Independent Non-Executive Director and he currently sits on board of Parkson Holdings Berhad.
During his tenure in MITI, he also served as MITI’s representative on the board of various companies and corporations including Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), MATRADE, Johor Corporation, Regional Economic Development Authority (RECODA) and Lembaga Kenaf dan Tembakau Negara. Tan Sri Abdul Rahman has represented Malaysia in a number of international meetings, negotiations, conferences and symposiums and has also contributed towards formulating, implementing and monitoring policies and programs on international trade and industrial growth. He is an honorary member of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations and a Malaysian Leader for the High Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration.

TAN SRI LAW TIEN SENG
Company Director

Tan Sri Law Tien Seng, a Malaysian, was appointed as the Deputy Chairman and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of HTVB on 1 June 2010. Tan Sri Law was re-designated as Executive Deputy Chairman on 3 August 2011. Tan Sri Law Tien Seng is currently sitting on the board of several private limited companies in Malaysia.
He is a businessman and owns a group of companies which are diversified in the manufacturing of steel products, property development, television drama and video production, food and beverages, among others. He has also been the Malaysian Business Adviser to the Jinan Group of Companies in Shandong Province in the People’s Republic of China for many years.

QIU LIUZHONG
Company Director

Mr. Qiu LiuZhong, born in JiangSu, China, appointed as the Company Director of Eastern Steel Sdn Bhd on 21st September 2015.
Mr. Qiu, holds an EMBA Degree from Northeastern University, China and Bachelor of Arts from WuHan University, China. Mr. Qiu started his career with Shougang Institute of Technology as a teacher in year 1993 and later he was promoted as Director under the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Department. Mr. Qiu joined China Shougang International Trade & Engineering Corporation in year 2005, responsible for import equipment and later he was promoted to Deputy Manager. In the year of 2014, he was promoted as Director of Investment Management of Shougang Overseas Business Department. With his extensive experience and competencies, he was promoted again as Assistant to the President of Shougang International Trade & Engineering Corporation in year 2015.

WANG SHENG HUA
Company Director, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Wang Sheng Hua, born in Beijing, China. He was graduated from Beijing Shougang First Technology College, major in steelmaking. Mr. Wang started his career with Shougang China since 1984. During his tenure in Shougang Group, he has held various plant senior positions such as Deputy Chief, Chief Production Officer, Production Plant Manager and etc, responsible for the production management. With his innovative and innovation, he was awarded with Shougang Science & Technology corporate awards for four times and his performance was recognized by the Company and the Top Management.

TEE CHOON HOCK
Company Director, Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Tee Choon Hock, a Malaysian, was appointed as Project Director for Eastern Steel Sdn Bhd on the 1st January 2012. Mr. Tee is a trained metallurgist with over 30 years of experience in the steel industry. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from The University of Bath, UK in 1996. Prior to joining Hiap Teck Group, Mr. Tee was with The Lion Group’s steel division for 16 years. He is currently the council member of Malaysia Iron And Steel Industry Federation (MISIF).
