COMMENT & SUGGESTIONS
INTRODUCTION
Industrial training is a step that has been taken by The Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (KPTM) and Kota Bharu Polytechnic for the purpose of providing new exposure to students about the real situation in the workplace and a guarantee for the student to be employed after their graduation. In addition, this step can produce high competitive person and prepared them to be employed in the future.
I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge regardless of theoretical and practical aspects in this 20 weeks of industry training. This is very meaningful and valuable to me when I started my career. Although I am satified with the experiences that I've gained in the training, but there are still some weaknesses that need to be addressed by the few parties. Therefore, the weaknesses need to be solved so that the problem does not happen again on students who will undergo Industrial Training in the future. The suggestion may be can use as a guide for the ministry, polytechnic, firms and student themselves.
Below are some suggestions for different party:
For the Ministry of Higher Education
COMMENTS:
1) Lack of concern to the students.2) No special training or program for the student in industry training.
SUGGESTIONS:
1) More concern from the ministry would help the student to increase self confidence to survive in the working society.
2) Provide a special training or program with the company for the students to discovering their talent.
For the Kota Bharu Polytechnic
COMMENTS:
1) Lack of quality that can guarantee graduation.
2) Lack of emphasis on modern equipment.
3) Lack of interaction between lecturer and the internship supervisor.

SUGGESTIONS:
1) The Polytechnic should improve the quality of the graduates with high quality and capable of dealing with working environment.
2) Polytechnics need to give more emphasis to computer learning and modern equipment as mostly companies use modern equipment like computer with latest software equipped. This is to prepared the students in using the equipment or machines efficiently when in industrial training or working.
3) Polytechnics need to interact with student supervisor to monitor the student from time to time to understand if any problems faced by students throughout the industrial training period.
For Organization / Employer Parties
COMMENTS:
While I was undergoing industrial training at this company, I am satisfied with the working environment provided by my employer but there are also some weaknesses that affecting the rating of the company which are:
1) Dust from plant bring negative effect to the health.
2) Equipment provided by employers is insufficient like no computer to use until the middle period of the internship.

SUGGESTIONS:
1) The organization must stress the health issue in the plant as it affecting most of the staff by improve the filtering system at plant.
2) The company need to prepare the equipment or tools for the student before they start the training to guarantee the student performance.
